When we approached Mr. P.M.S. Rajan, the President of the Panchayat and Mr. Manikaraj, the Executive Officer of the Panchayat, they were more than willing to organise the medical camp. This free medical camp for eye and cancer was held in A.V. School, Keelapavoor.
Despite his busy schedule, Mr. P.M.S. Rajan offered to officially inaugurate the medical camp. Even though the camp was held only in the afternoon between 2 pm and 5 pm, the response was overwhelming! Many patients benefited from this free medical camp.
Many youngsters came forward to volunteer for this event. It is a testimony of the impact of SEEDS Palliative Care in and around Keelapavoor.
